Adult education is important at First Lutheran. Open and lively discussions are encouraged.
Men’s Bible Study – Weekly Bible study for the men in the church.
Women’s Bible Study – Weekly Bible study based on the Bible texts for the next Sunday service.
Circle – Monthly Bible based discussion group which meets at the church.
Sunday School – Classes are held before Sunday worship services for Preschool though Middle School. Classes are led by adult members of the congregation.
Confirmation – An educational program for middle school age students is taught by the pastors each week. The program covers the Old and New Testaments over two years, with additional classes for 3rd year Confirmands through September and October. We celebrate students’ Affirmation of Baptism on Reformation Sunday.
*Vacation Bible School – First Lutheran partners with neighboring Salem Lutheran Church to host a Vacation Bible School each summer for preschool through 5th grade students.
First Lutheran Preschool has been closed indefinitely due to Covid, please contact the office for more details.
